Frequently asked questions.

I currently have a belt from another academy, would I be able to keep my belt rank when joining Rogue Martial Arts?

If you joining our Hybrid TKD classes and currently have a belt rank in either taekwondo or karate, then you will switch to an equal rank in our belt system if necessary when joining Rogue and hold it until you are ready to test.

If you are joining our Kickboxing classes then you will be evaluated based on your skill/ability level and granted in our kickboxing system.

Our MMA classes do not have a belt rank system.

Does Martial Arts lead to aggressive behavior?

At Rogue we teach that martial arts should be defensive and should be used in training, sport and self-defense only. In fact most martial artists show less aggressive behavior then the average person after a year or more of training.

How do the open mat sessions work?

Our open mat sessions are essentially free time for our students to practice what they want at their own pace in a safe environment with staff supervision. These sessions are not mandatory, and people can drop in and out as they wish during the session.

Can I take more then one style/class at a time?

Yes! We offer bundles so you or your child can train in multiple martial arts styles. Please contact or visit us for more information.
